Sarah McKenna HR Recruitment joined us at Hope Street Xchange in February 2018, bringing over 10 years’ experience of recruiting within the North East and Yorkshire HR marketplace. The company was set up in January 2017 and offers a fully consultative, straight forward, results driven recruitment strategy, specialising in all levels of HR recruitment from administrator to director and covering temporary, interim and permanent contracts. Sarah Mckenna, Director of Sarah Mckenna HR Recruitment, says: “I have always lived in Sunderland yet always commuted to Newcastle, so when I got the opportunity to decide where my business was to be based, Sunderland city centre was the only option as I cover the North East so it is the perfect position to be based in the middle of the region.

“I had visited Hope Street Xchange last year for international women’s day and was really impressed with the quality of the building and facilities. After only a few weeks of being here I felt so settled and all the staff are so helpful, nothing seems too much trouble, including walking up to the top floor to let me in the office after I have locked my keys in! All of my clients who have visited the site have made very positive comments about the building, which is what I was hoping for when picking a new office as you want it to represent your business.”
